Join Us for the 2025 Holiday Open House at the Dinehart Holt House!

The holiday season is right around the corner, and the Murray County Historical Society is once again opening the doors of the beautiful Dinehart Holt House for its annual Holiday Open House — happening this year on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

This beloved community tradition fills the historic home with warmth, laughter, and creativity — and your group, organization, or business is invited to be part of it!

2025 Theme: “Hunting!”

This year’s theme is “Hunting!” — a nod to the area’s outdoor traditions and holiday spirit. Participants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild by decorating a tree, area of the home, or even an entire room inspired by the theme.

Use recycled materials, repurposed treasures, and a dash of creativity to bring your vision to life. Whether you’re thinking classic, quirky, or completely out-of-the-box, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
