Calling all Tree Decorators – Holiday Open House

Your group, organization, or  business is invited to participate in the Murray County Museum’s 2021 Holiday Open House at the Dinehart Holt House!

This year the theme is  A “Beary” Merry Christmas! We encourage you to decorate a tree, area of the home, or even a whole room. Use your imagination to come up with something fun with a bear related theme!

The trees will be provided by the Murray County Museum. You will be responsible for lights, extension cords, tree skirts, and all the decorations for your tree. Trees will be set up and ready to decorate by October 29 and must be completely decorated by November 19.

Trees will be open to the public starting on Sunday, November 21 during our Open House from 1-4 PM.

You can decorate your trees during our regular hours from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and Saturdays 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Let us know if you need to arrange a special time outside of these hours.

Decorations can be picked up after January 1, 2020.

Please respond ASAP to this invitation. The last day to register will be Friday, October 29. To let us know you would like to decorate a tree, email the museum at musum@co.murray.mn.us or call 507-836–6533.
